The shape and proportion of your butts are determined by genetics, while the appearance of your lower body is determined by your skeletal structure and fat stores. Exercise and a healthy diet keep muscles toned and maintain body weight. Despite a healthy lifestyle, there are clients with flat butts and unhappy butt profiles. Reshaping your butt and surrounding areas can be achieved with a Brazilian butt lift.
By transferring fat to the butt area, a Brazilian butt lift creates a rounder, fuller butt contour. Liposuction is used to remove fat from the abdomen, lower back, hips, and thighs, followed by injection into the buttocks.
This procedure removes excess and tissue to recreate a more natural shape to the lower back and buttock regions.
Butt augmentation is a procedure that reshapes and enhances your gluteal area, providing you with an uplifted and shapelier buttock profile. The most frequent methods for enlarging and reshaping your buttocks are fat grafting using your own natural fatty tissue or with buttock implants.
The procedure is a good option if:
Butt augmentation with Fat Grafting:
The procedure follows the principle of liposuction from selected areas of the body and transfers the processed fat in recipient area (buttock) through small incisions. The fat is grafted in layers at multiple levels, with the cannula moving back and forth to ensure that a smooth, linear deposit of fatty tissue is left to reshape and augment the buttocks area. After fat transfer, you will have a compression garment over the liposuction areas and over your buttocks.
We provide the best Liposuction device for Fat transfer called Aquashape™ (BodyJet).
Waterjet Assisted Liposuction/ Aquashape™ is the safest, most gentle and the most recent and international method available for liposuction. The body jet machine we use is the only water-jet assisted liposuction machine approved by the FDA. The body jet is so gentle that the fat and surrounding tissue retains its integrity. This is important because with this method the fat that has been sucked out is in its purest form and can be reinjected into other parts of patient’s body to smooth wrinkles of the face or augment areas of the body like breast, buttocks and hands. It is the only ‘completely closed Liposuction’ procedure in the world and also generates the stromal vascular fraction that is the actual precursor of the stem cell.
Buttock Augmentation with Implants:
General anesthesia is commonly used during your buttock augmentation procedure, although local anesthesia or intravenous sedation may be desirable in some instances.
The procedure time is about 3 hours. For patients who have limited fatty tissue, implants are most appropriate for treating flat or poorly defined buttocks.
With this procedure a soft, shaped silicone implant is placed through an incision in the fold between the buttocks or an alternate incision site may be used (outer corners of the upper buttock and at the bottom in the gluteal crease). The implant is positioned in a pocket either in the muscle or above the gluteal muscle on each side. Incisions are sutured, Drains and compression garment are positioned.
When the anesthesia wears off, you may have some pain. The recovery period is slightly longer and more painful in the buttock area because this body region is used for physical activities such as walking, running, and even standing. Expect some bruising and swelling in the buttock area during recovery. This is normal and will begin to subside after a few days or weeks. No sitting will be permitted for the first ten days (except for toileting). After this time you can sit with a soft pillow placed beneath your hamstrung muscles but not touching your buttock so that your buttock is in the air and there is no pressure on the newly augmented buttock. The body garment must be worn for six to eight weeks. Week by week you will able to return to your normal physical activity.
Under normal circumstances, the results of your butt augmentation surgery will be long-lasting. The decision to have a butt augmentation is extremely personal and you’ll have to decide if the benefits will achieve your goals and if the risks and potential complications are acceptable. The cosmetic surgeon will explain in detail the risks associated with surgery.
Complications of buttock augmentation are infrequent but they can occur as for all the surgeries (for example bleeding, infection, unfavourable scarring, revision surgery, implant slippage). Please sign the consent form after ensuring that you fully understand the procedure you will undergo and of the risks and potential complications.
